Dr. Demitri Balabanov is a CEO & CTO of Apparel Robotics Corporation. He has degrees in Physics and Nanoscience and was a physics researcher at universities in Massachusetts and North Carolina. For over 7 years, Demitri has worked for some of the largest global apparel brands developing automation systems and future-oriented technologies for apparel and footwear manufacturing. In 2022, he co-founded Apparel Robotics Corporation in order to automate clothing manufacturing and provide a pathway towards a more sustainable clothing industry.

Alexander Balabanov is the Chief Operating Officer of Apparel Robotics. His undergraduate degree was done in Industrial & Systems engineering from North Carolina State University and he is in the last year of his masters in Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to Apparel Robotics, Alexander worked in the industry for 7+ years as a technical consultant both in software & manufacturing, spending the latter years in leadership positions assisting with multi-department wide operations, hirings and reorganizations. 

Agueo Lopez is the Chief Software Architect of Apparel Robotics. Agueo received his Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University and has since accrued 7+ years of experience in areas such as networking, artificial intelligence, automation and electronics assembly from well known companies like Bandwidth, Cisco and NetApp.
